GLP-1 (glucagon‐like peptide‐1) and GIP (Gastric inhibitory polypeptide) are incretin hormones that play a crucial role in regulating glucose levels and promoting weight loss. They work together to stimulate insulin secretion, inhibit glucagon release, and slow gastric emptying. GLP-1 also reduces appetite, while GIP may have a role in fat deposition and potentially mitigating some of the nausea associated with GLP-1 receptor agonists.   GLP-1/GIP receptor agonists are the newest class of drugs to help promote weight loss and reduce A1C levels in diabetics.

An Eligibility Screening form is required to determine eligibility for our GLP-1/GIP Therapy.
